Happy birthday Unkle Cyril. This wonderful man proves that 80 is the new 60 with his boundless enthusiasm and energy. Speaking of energy, our Hawaiian bracket, was so well received at the Illawarra Folk Festival, that we’ll take it to the Blue Mountains. With this in mind, could you bring the updated Hawaiian song book, Swingaleles book 9 and Waltzing Matilda.

The Illawarra Folk Festival was welcomed back with record breaking crowds, and the Swingaleles played their part by helping Unkle Cyril with his ukulele workshop. Seeing as Thursday is Australia Day, could you wear your Aussie outfits ( Akubra, knotted handkerchief, budgy smugglers,…

This weekend we are involved in a ukulele workshop on Friday, as well as a performance on Saturday. This…

Isn’t it good to see the sun. I had almost forgotten what it was like to wear shorts. To start getting us ready for our upcoming festivals and other bookings, could you update Swingaleles book 9, and the Hawaiian song book.and bring both as well as Raymondo’s for a warm up.

Auld Lang Syne has been sun and fireworks have been lit. Another exciting year awaits us Swingaleles. Our next big event will be the Illawarra Folk Festival. Our Hawaiian bracket has been really well received so we’ll perfect it over the next couple of weeks. With that in mind could you bring the Hawaiian book, Raymondo’s for a warm up, and Swingaleles Book 9.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with friends and family. I think I have put on five kilos, so luckily I can start losing some of it when we play at the Nan Tien Temple tomorrow 27th.starting 1.55 pm. Bring the Hawaiian book we have been working from and dress in your best Hawaiian gear. Can’t wait to see you all.
